I sat in that chair, I let them quote me a number that made my stomach drop, and I walked out a thousand dollars lighter with results that started fading before the next school term was over. I did it again. And again. Somewhere around the third appointment, sitting in the parking lot looking at a receipt longer than my grocery list, I thought there had to be a smarter way than renting my own face back from a needle every three months.
